A. Job title: Chef/Sushi Chef
B. Duties:
· Cook and prepare many high quality types of dishes, produce sauces accompanying those dishes if necessary.
· Ensure foods are stored and kept at proper holding temperatures;
· Contribute to Innovation of new dishes, assist in improving current menu and creating fresh, flavor some and well-balanced meals.
· Clean and sanitize work stations and equipment;
· Follow all company operational kitchen process and procedures, achieving all required standards;
· Comply with food hygiene and Health & Safety regulations;
· Supervise Kitchen Assistants to ensure that they meet the rules and regulations as well;
· Maintain kitchen equipment and take care of waste, to ensure wastage is recorded and strict actions are followed
· Work with Head Chef / Second Chef to organize banquets, parties and other event.
C. Requirements
· Minimum 3 years working experience in a similar cuisine.
· Strong Knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment and best practices.
· Teamwork-oriented with outstanding leadership abilities.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Must be fluent in Chinese and have good knowledge of English.
